Designed to accommodate diverse interconnected departments, a barrier free form integrates the outdoor & the indoor giving it a sense of connection and dynamism along with the sophisticated infrastructure. Inside the factory, the planning responds to the rhythm of the workflow, the layout designed to synchronise with the different stages of production, from the assembly of raw materials to the rigorously tested finished products ready for the distribution.
The office spaces, strategically planned to overlook into the manufacturing facility, accommodates 40 employees and features conference rooms, a director’s cabin, meeting rooms, reception area, and testing labs. The envelope of the factory stands as a testament to innovation. It exemplifies a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics, crafted to enhance both the interior environment and the building’s overall energy efficiency. At its core, the design philosophy of the office façade focuses on maximizing natural light and view, while simultaneously reducing heat gain, achieving the crucial balance essential to the building’s efficiency. By regulating the amount of sunlight entering the building, the louvered screen minimizes the need for mechanical cooling, thereby significantly reducing operational energy costs.
The passive design features reduce envelope load by 32%, resulting in a cooler and more energy-efficient facade. Optimized lighting ensures 100% daylit spaces, while stack ventilation at the office entrance improves air quality and reduces HVAC energy consumption by 27%. The Manufacturing Unit Shed’s roof maximizes daylight and ventilation, producing 88,000 kWh annually to offset the office’s energy demand.
