This office of the ‘WoodEdge Office’ in Faridabad, Haryana represents a new-age modern workspace design. The client’s desire was to have an innovative approach in the office design which was implemented through several strategies with focus on flexibility, functionality, and aesthetics.
The design concept draws inspiration from the nature and essence of edge bands itself. This is reflected in the play of lines, curves and angles in various elements such as walls, ceilings, doors and partitions which represents edge bands and creates a dynamic environment.
This design language is consistent throughout the space, creating visual interest and emphasizing the company’s core product.
The design ensures visual connectivity between different spaces, promoting transparency and communication. Strategic use of glazing in partitions is incorporated to maintain a sense of openness while demarcating various zones.
A cafeteria for the office staff is designed as an inviting space where employees can relax and recharge. It features durable materials and a robust looking contemporary design, making it a perfect spot for social interactions.
