We tried to capture Manali’s characters in the form of its colours, textures, materials & accents is now ready to be explored & experienced. The project was envisioned to be a clutter free & highly #functional yet is #minimilistic in its approach of design.
The space needed to be harmonious to its surroundings and evoke a पहाड़ी feel to it.
The living room creates a conversation between the woody interiors to blue mountains, celebrating being an extravagant it still feels local. The sumptuous shades of brown and beige elevates the outdoor views for visitors to take pleasure of both at the same time.
Integrating local & contemporary interior elements evokes an eclectic theme for our recently completed #airbnb in Manali.
Inspired by the Pahadi culture and landscape, this retreat is nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Brief from the clients was to retrofit and transform an existing property into a luxurious yet humble Airbnb that offers a retreat with sophisticated high-end experience yet making the guests feel at a home away from home.
The minimalist design features a harmonious blend of earthy elements and a vibrant color palette inspired by nature. The space is adorned with geometric and traditional patterns in rugs, tapestries, and furniture, all drawing inspiration from local Himachali motifs.
These design choices enhance the warmth and charm of the interiors, creating an inviting and aesthetically pleasing environment. Overall, it aspires to be a blend of comfort and cultural richness, inspired from a boho style that resonates particularly well with young guests.
The ground + 3 floors structure features distinct color palettes for each level, each with its own unique selling points, while integrating the comfort of study spaces, luggage racks, sitting areas, fire space, luxury jacuzzi, TVs, and modular furniture designs.
The Ground floor boasts rich array of patterns and decorative elements engaging the visitors into cozy and vibrant atmosphere. The middle floors are a combination of indoor experiences and outdoor connectivity for the visitors.
The top level features an attic with existing interior elements. The highlight of this level is its exceptional outdoor views, designed to maximize connectivity with the natural landscape, providing guests with a serene environment.
Large windows and openings are strategically planned capturing ample daylight throughout the day. By prioritizing natural daylight and ventilation, the design significantly reduces reliance on artificial lighting and mechanical cooling systems. Moreover, these windows offer captivating views of the mountains, enhancing the visitors’ experience with breathtaking natural views.
